DarwinFPV Baby Ape Review
Darwin Baby Ape has been loved by many pilots as soon as it was published. In order to design a better FPV drone, we have upgraded the Baby Ape based on the pilots’ feedback and launched the BabyApe Pro V2.We made seveal upgrades from the frame. First of all, nylon standoffs is upgraded to aluminum alloy standoffs, which strengthens the frame and stables structure.Second, We added the receiver fixing bracket.Third, we upgraded the arms. The arms are upgraded from 4 individual arms(2.5mm thicness) to 2 integrated arms(3.0mm thickness). It is more easy to disassemble, sturdy and durable.Last, the V2 version only needs 4 screws to fix, and the arm can be replaced by removing 2 screws without removing the whole drone.

Structural Upgrade: The receiver bracket has been upgraded from nylon to aluminum alloy, while the standoffs have also been replaced with aluminum alloy for added durability and stability.
Arm Upgrade: The drone now features 4 individual arms, down from the previous requirement of 2 special arms. Additionally, the arm plates have been thickened to 3mm (up from 2mm) for easier disassembly and increased durability.
Frame Upgrade: In comparison, the original frame required 9 screws to secure each arm, whereas the upgraded frame only needs 4 screws. This simplifies the process of replacing or removing arms, as you now only need to remove 2 screws instead of the previous 4, making it easier to access and maintain your drone.
