Configuration Selection
1. Power Supply Methods
30 Cleaning drones have two styles to choose from according to different power supply methods, which are suitable for different needs:
1) Self-contained water tank cleaning drone: The drone carries batteries and water tanks, and the cleaning time is about 10 minutes; the advantage is that it does not require cables and tethered equipment, which is more convenient; the disadvantage is that the cleaning time is short and it is not suitable for long-term work on a large area;
2) Tethered cleaning drone: Tethered drones use tethered power supply. There is a special power supply equipment on the ground, and then the cleaning drone is powered by cables. It does not carry a water tank, but supplies water through water pipes; the advantage is that the working time is long and there is no time limit, which is suitable for cleaning a large area; the disadvantage is that a tethered device is required, the cost is high, and the building height should not be too high, otherwise the cable is too long and the water pressure is too high, which will cause many problems. The vertical height is preferably within 50 meters;
2. Sprayer Head Type
The nozzle type is mainly based on the spraying angle, which includes:
1) 0° direct spray: suitable for cleaning vertical glass curtain walls and other walls;
2) 45° spray: suitable for cleaning target objects with inclined angles, such as photovoltaic solar panels;
3)90° spray: suitable for spraying water from top to bottom, such as suitable for roof cleaning;
3. Swing Device
The swing device can swing the nozzle device, which means that a larger area can be cleaned by swinging the nozzle without moving the aircraft; this is very friendly to pilots and greatly improves the cleaning efficiency; It is installed on the drone and connected to the nozzle. It has a rotating servo inside that can change the direction of the nozzle, thereby achieving left and right cleaning. It should be noted that it comes with a nozzle that can only spray downwards, making it suitable for cleaning solar panels and house roofs;
4. Ground booster pump
The tethered cleaning drone needs to be equipped with a booster water pump on the ground so that water can be transferred from the ground to the drone in the air; the specific parameters of a booster water pump that we can choose are as follows:
